2023 Richmond Romp Gold medal Winners

Dates: November 8-11  (traveling teams we will try not be scheduled on the Friday November 8th)

1. Team Manager or representative are to report to the Tournament Check-in office (Minoru Event Centre) between 30-45 minutes prior to each game to verify game sheets for ALL FIELDS. If you are on Richmond High for your games you still need to check in at the office.  The last team to sign in will take the game sheet to the field. It will be the responsibility of the winning team to bring the game sheet back at the end of the game unless the referee is coming back to the office or there is a need for them to keep them. I will have sleeves to keep the score sheet dryish and need them back with the completed game sheet. Teams can keep their copies at the field unless the referee is not done with it(I only need the white copy)

2. The Home Team, is responsible for supplying one person for timekeeping.
   The Visiting Team is responsible for supplying one person for scorekeeping.
   If teams agree responsibility can be changed 

3. We will be offering a concession and BBQ for the weekend for your convenience at the Main field next to the team check-in. Offering a variety of items including Coffee, Hot Chocolate and cold beverages along with Hamburgers and Hot Dogs.  (Debit and Credit Card along with cash will be accepted for payments)

4. We will be offering souvenir clothing in Hoodies, tournament t-shirts for siblings, toques, and a variety of generic lacrosse t-shirts ( Debit and Credit card along with cash are accepted for payments) 

5. There are washrooms to on the north side of the building, in the main building (no cleats allowed) and at the arena 

6. The schedule and scores can be viewed on our website and will be updated as soon as possible during the weekend. They are unofficial until Saturday night when the semi final games are announced as with over 100 games there is bound to be at least one data entry error www.richmondlacrosse.com

7. On Friday for the 1030am games we will be stopping play just prior to 11am. All players will quickly line up for a moment of silence. The referees at the beginning of the game will have the instructions for the players and the teams. As well written instructions will be given the the score and timekeeper with the scoresheet from the office

Monday is Remembrance Day. There are ceremonies at No 3rd and Granville Ave. To get to the field you will want to avoid that intersection until at least noon.  Either come down Westminster Hwy to Gilbert(head south) and then turn left onto Granville, or if coming from the south from Steveston Hwy turn on to Gilbert(turn north) and then right onto Granville.  If using GPS to get to the fields.  The main fields are 7191 Granville Ave, Richmond High School is 7171 Minoru BLVD.
